Jeffrey S. Copeland is the author of the literary nonfiction work, Plague in Paradise: the Black Death in Los Angeles, 1924. He is also a Professor of English in the Deparment of Languages & Literatures.
Open mic signup begins at 7 p.m. (bring your best five minutes of poetry, fiction or creative nonfiction). The open mic begins at 7:15. Featured readers take the stage at 8 p.m. As time permits, there will be a Q&A session following the reading. Books by featured readers and other regional authors will be available for purchase.
