On May 22, 2017, Andy Anderson, assistant professor of management, and his cousin John Anderson accomplished the incredible feat of summiting Mount Everest's Northeast Ridge. Their 52-day expedition made history as they were the first Iowans to successfully summit the mountain from the North side.
The Office of the Provost and the College of Business Administration invite UNI students, faculty, staff, administration and guests to hear Andy's story of determination.
During his slide presentation, he will discusses all aspects of his historic ascent, including the physical and mental challenges he faced and the way in which the lessons learned impact how he lives his life.
