This talk will consider various ways of electing multiple representatives to a body such as a town council. Many methods, including voting districts and proportional representation, will be discussed but the focus will be on the the effect of the number of votes which a voter may cast (ranging from one to the number of representatives elected) on the ability to elect a minority candidate with at-large voting.
