The UNI – NASA Connection
Tuesday, April 2, 2024, 1:00-2:00 pm
Rod Library Scholar Space
Open to the UNI Community

NASA is interested in growing and diversifying the pipeline of STEM Professionals and in educating a STEM literate and passionate citizenry. Please join us to learn more about how you could connect with NASA and their upcoming missions and research. Opportunities to collaborate with NASA go far beyond the obvious connections to earth and space science and aerospace engineering.

A presentation followed by conversation with ISGC leadership:

  • Dr. Sara Nelson - NASA Iowa Space Grant Consortium and NASA Iowa EPSCoR Director
  • Professor Matthew Nelson - ISGC Assistant Director
  • Hailey Waller, ISGC and EPSCoR Program Specialist

Please join us to consider how your research can connect to NASA and how Iowa Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) grants and other opportunities can assist you!  Please encourage your colleagues to attend this event.

This event is open to all members of the UNI Campus community.  We especially encourage faculty from all areas of campus and students interested in pursuing undergraudate research and/or NASA internships to attend.  Learn more about ISGC opportunities for <a href="https://calendar.uni.edu/%3Ca%20href%3D"https://www.iaspacegrant.org/funding/faculty/" rel="nofollow">https://www.iaspacegrant.org/funding/faculty/">faculty</a> and <a href="https://calendar.uni.edu/%3Ca%20href%3D"https://www.iaspacegrant.org/funding/undergrads/" rel="nofollow">https://www.iaspacegrant.org/funding/undergrads/">students</a>.
